CHEESE CAKE BARS 
BASE:

1/3 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. Pillsbury's Best flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

FILLING:

1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Combine flour and walnuts. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remainder into bottom of ungreased 8 or 9-inch square pan. Bake 11 minutes until brown.

Blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add milk, lemon juice, vanilla and egg. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees 27 minutes until brown. Yield: 24 bars.
