FUDGE FANCIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts (for rolling)

Mix and chill. Roll into logs. Roll logs in nuts. Chill and slice. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F. Frost with chocolate frosting.
