STUFFED FRENCH TOAST 
Cut crust from 8 slices of day old bread. Cut into cubes. Place 1/2 in bottom of 9 x 12 baking dish. Cube 2 (8 ounces) packages of cream cheese. Put 1/2 of these cubes with the bread in the dish. Repeat the remaining bread and cheese cubes.

Beat 1 dozen eggs in a large bowl. Add 2 cups milk and mix well. Stir in 1/3 cup maple syrup. Pour over bread and cream cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until done.

NOTE: Test with knife as for custard.
