CORN RELISH 
Red & green bell peppers
Onions
Sweet corn on the cob
1 c. vinegar
2 c. water
Celery seed
Cloves
Whole allspice
Sugar

Combine vinegar, water and spices. Add sugar to taste and cook until thick. Cut peppers and onions by hand about 3/8 inch square. Cut corn from the cob. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Let simmer over low heat until very tender and drain. Strain syrup through cloth and add onions and pepper mix. Cook until tender. Stir in corn and hot water bath for 5 minutes.
