HUNGARIAN STUFFED CABBAGE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork or pork ribs on top
2/3 c. raw rice
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
Lg. head of cabbage
1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 lg. onion
Tomato juice

Brown large onion in fat. Add paprika; blend quickly. Remove from fire. Pour over meat. Wash rice in sieve with cold water. Drain rice and add to meat with salt and pepper. Wash sauerkraut in cold water, saving some of the juice. Place 1/3 sauerkraut in bottom of crock pot; put meat in cabbage leaves which have been boiled in hot water so you can roll. Make 3 layers, using sauerkraut in layers. Place spareribs on top. Slice onion and pour tomato juice over. Cook 2 hours or more.
