NO HEADACHE HAMBURGER NOODLE
CASSEROLE
 
4 c. cooked noodles
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground chuck
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3/4 c. grated sharp cheese

Place drained noodles in a 2 quart casserole dish and mix in 1 tablespoons of butter. Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper until smooth and spread evenly over noodles. Saute onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter until glossy; add meat and brown slightly. Add tomato sauce to meat mixture, and pour over top of layered ingredients in casserole. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
