2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. lemon
6 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and stir together, using hands if necessary. Cool slightly, roll out 1/8 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Frost and decorate when cool.
