COUNTRY SMOTHERED ROUND STEAK 
2 round steaks, cut into 4x4 inch pieces
2 med. cans of mushrooms
Flour
Sunflower seed oil
Salt and pepper to taste

GRAVY:

4 tbsp. flour
5 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add salt and pepper to flour and dredge both side of meat. Add enough oil to skillet to brown both sides of meat. Place browned meat in a deep dish baking pan. Add both cans of mushrooms, including liquid, to meat.

In skillet, add flour to pan drippings, brown and mix well. Add water and stir until bubbling hot. (If gravy is not thick enough, mix 2 tablespoons flour or cornstarch to 3/4 cup cold water, add to gravy and stir.) Pour gravy over meat, cover loosely with foil and bake on middle rack for 90 minutes. Stir every 30 minutes.
