SKILLET MACARONI AND BEEF | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 lb. or 2 c. uncooked elbow or salad macaroni 1/2 c. minced onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce 1 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Cook ground beef in large skillet until it loses its redness. Remove from skillet and cook macaroni, onions and green pepper in meat fat until macaroni is yellow. Return meat to skillet, add tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 25 minutes or until macaroni is cooked to suit your taste. |
