CREAMED MUSHROOMS 
2 oz. butter
1 finely chopped onion
a little caraway seed, crunched
1 lb. chopped mushrooms

In butter, sauté onion. Add a little caraway seed. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté.

White Sauce:

In separate pan, make white sauce. Add mushroom mixture and chopped parsley before serving.

To Be Used As A:

1. Side Dish - In small quantity of white sauce, add sour cream or cream and drop of lemon juice.

2. Entree - On toast or patty shell, add dry sherry or vermouth, ham or chicken.

3. Soup - Add hot water to thin white sauce and a little sweet cream for mellow flavor.
