SAUERKRAUT SURPRISE 
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. kielbasa
12 oz. sauerkraut
1 1/2 - 2 c. instant mashed potatoes
3 slices American cheese

Pre-cook kielbasa for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into 1" pieces and cover bottom of casserole. Partially drain sauerkraut and layer over kielbasa. Make potatoes as directed on package and cover sauerkraut. Break up cheese slices and place on top of potatoes. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve hot with salad and vegetable. Wieners or sausage may be used in place of kielbasa.
