HOT FRUIT CASSEROLE 
1 med. can peaches
1 med. can pears
1 med. can chunk pineapple
1 med. can dark pitted cherries
4 bananas
Slivered almonds
Brown sugar
Oleo
6 or more lg. macaroon cookies

Drain fruit in colander well. Cut fruit bite size and layer in oblong casserole. On each layer, use dabs of butter and sprinkle brown sugar and almonds.

When ready to cook, cut bananas (round) and put on top of fruit. Pour cooking sherry over all. Crumble macaroon cookies over top. Heat to 350 degrees until hot, about 15 minutes. Serve hot.
