2 c. flour (self rising)
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c.sugar
1 tsp. clear vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
3 egg whites

Mix the first 5 ingredients until smooth. Then add egg whites and beat until smooth. Grease whatever type cake pan you wish with Crisco. Then add your batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until done, (test with toothpick). Top with your favorite icing or fruit and whipped cream, or serve with ice cream.
