LEMON SQUARES 
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. pre-sifted flour
2 sticks REAL butter

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish; then mix flour and sugar with butter in same dish, making sure it is mixed together well. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and add the following.

LEMON FILLING:

4 eggs, slightly beaten

Add:

2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. flour
7 tbsp. Real Lemon juice (bottle)

Beat until mixed well and pour over the hot crust and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Let sit until it is completely cool before cutting. Note: Don't substitute butter for butter. Don't cover tightly.
