BANANA CAKE 
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. mashed brown bananas

Cream together shortening, eggs, and sugar. Add milk. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt; add to sugar mixture. Then add vanilla and mashed bananas. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan and bake at 300 to 350 degrees until cake tests done.

GLAZE:

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milnot

Let boil until thick, but pourable.
