PECAN TARTS 
PASTRY:

1 c. butter
6 oz. cream cheese
2 c. unsifted flour

Cream ingredients until smooth. Roll into balls.

FILLING:

2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/3 c. pecans, chopped

PASTRY: Press into bottoms and side of tart tins with thumb.

FILLING: Mix all but nuts together well. Add nuts. Fill each tin 3/4 full with filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes approximately 48.
