HAM AND MAC BAKE 
6 oz. (1 2/3 c.) macaroni
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 or 2 tbsp. prepared mustard (to taste)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 c. cubed cooked ham
2 apples, pared and thinly sliced (2 c.)

Cook macaroni in boiling salted water 8-10 minutes; drain. In large saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour, brown sugar, mustard, and salt. Add milk slowly. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cooked macaroni, ham and apple. Turn into 2-quart casserole dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
