4 tbsp. cocoa
1 cube butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water

In saucepan, mix above ingredients. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over: 2 c. sugar

Mix with mixer and add 2 eggs, one at a time. Add: 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla

Pour into greased and floured cookie sheet, 18x12x1 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. While baking, make frosting.

FROSTING FOR BROWNIE CAKE:

1 cube butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Boil. Remove from heat and add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoons vanilla and 1 cup nuts. Will be thick, so spread while it melts, pouring over hot cake.
