MINCE STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. water
2 c. milk
3 med. potatoes, peeled & quartered
5 sm. carrots, sliced
1/2 c. peas (optional)

Place ground beef in the milk and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for approximately 10 minutes. Cover and simmer at lowest heat. While mince is simmering, cut vegetables. Add to the mince. Simmer over low heat until vegetables are tender.
