STRAWBERRIES AND ALMONDS 
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup low calorie whipped topping
1/4 cup toasted almond slivers

Combine the berries, extract, sugar and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.

In parfait glasses, layer the whipped topping and strawberries. Top each serving with almonds.
