SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1/2 lb. ground round steak
1/2 lb. ground lean pork
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. steak sauce
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. instant bouillon (or bouillon cubes)
1 c. water

Pour milk over bread crumbs and let stand about 15 minutes. Lightly mix in the ground meats, then egg and seasonings. Shape meat mixture into 12 meatballs. On surface unit, heat shortening in a 10 inch flame-proof ceramic skillet. Brown meatballs with a slotted spoon and reserve. Sprinkle flour into hot fat in skillet; stir until smooth. Gradually add water and bouillon, stirring constantly. Heat in microwave oven for 3 minutes, stirring several times during cooking. Add meatballs to gravy; cover and cook 3 minutes longer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
