RICE PILAF 
1 1/2 c. rice
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 sm. onion, grated
1 (13 oz.) can chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pine nuts

Melt butter, add onions, rice and add chicken broth, water, salt, mushrooms. Bring to boil then add raisins and nuts. Simmer 25 minutes, covered. Serves 6 to 8.
