OKTOBERFEST PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
4 slices bacon
1 can (16 oz.) sauerkraut
4 to 6 pork chops, about 3/4 inches
1 lg. onion, sliced in rings
2 or 3 lg. potatoes, peeled, sliced thin
1 can (16 oz.) solid packed tomatoes, chopped (I used stewed)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cover bottom with bacon. Top with sauerkraut. Lay pork chops. Cover with onion rings. Cover with tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Cover and bake 2 hours. (Check meat.) You may have to leave it in longer. Preparation time: 20 minutes.
