FRIED CABBAGE WITH KIELBASA 
1 lg. cabbage, shredded
2 lg. cans sauerkraut
4 med. onions, chopped
1 lg. kielbasa
1 1/2 c. (approximately) water from cooking kielbasa
3-4 beef cubes
1/2 stick butter, melted
2 tbsp. salad oil
1-3 tsp. brown sugar

To cook Kielbasa, boil water, add Kielbasa and once water begins to boil again, time cooking for 50 minutes. Remove and let cool and then slice thinly.

Cook shredded cabbage and sauerkraut in boiling water for approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Drain very well.

Saute onions in salad oil. melt 3 to 4 beef cubes in about 1 1/2 cups Kielbasa water. To this add Kielbasa, cabbage with sauerkraut and onions, and cook until tasty. If taste is bitter, add brown sugar, 1 teaspoon at a time, until bitterness is gone.
