SAUSAGE RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage 1 cup rice 1 onion, chopped 2 cans beef consomme, or, 1 can beef consomme and 1 can water 1 small can mushrooms, optional brown sausage, drain off fat. Combine with rice, consomme, onion and mushrooms in a 9 x 13 dish. Cover with foil and bake at 400°F for 45 minutes. Stir gently before serving. Good when weather is cold. |
