BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
6 c. milk
Salt to taste
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
8 oz. fine noodles
1 lb. cheese (Velveeta or Cheez Whiz)
Pepper if desired

Cook onion in oil in a heavy pan. When clear, add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil; add noodles and cook slowly until tender. Add chopped broccoli, milk and cheese. Heat slowly and let flavors blend.
