DEEP DARK CHOCOLATE 
2 c.sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla - beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 35-40 minutes. Cool completely. Do not remove from pan.

ICING FOR DEEP DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE:

6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add cocoa and sugar alternately with milk. Beat to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. Makes about 2 cups.
