1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. water
Few drops food coloring
1 c. flour

Put in saucepan, flour, salt, cream of tartar. Add cup of water and cooking oil. Add food coloring.

Cook stirring constantly three minutes or until mixture pulls away from pan. Then knead immediately for few minutes. Keeps well in ziplock bag. Softer - works well in playdough machine.
