BROWNIE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
3 egg whites
Dash of salt
3/4 c. fine crushed chocolate wafers
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped & sweetened
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in crushed cookies, walnuts, and vanilla. Spread in lightly buttered 8" pie pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool. Spread with whipped cream. Chill 3 to 4 hours.
