HOLIDAY GARLIC BREAD 
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 loaf Italian or French bread, split lengthwise

Combine cheeses, mayonnaise and garlic powder in a large bowl. Spread mixture on bread and broil for a few minutes, until cheese top is golden brown and bubbly. Great served with fruit.

Options: Sometimes sprinkle with some basil, rosemary, or chili powder too. Place sliced tomatoes on the uncooked garlic bread, drizzle it with a bottled pesto sauce, sprinkle it with cheese and broil it as above. Yield 4-6 slices.
