YAMS AND APPLES WITH BUTTER
CRUNCH TOPPING
 
1 tray Market Day Yams and Apples
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Cook Yams and Apples according to package directions. To prepare the butter crunch topping, combine softened butter, oats, flour, brown sugar and nuts. Mix with a fork until mixture is well blended and crumbly. When the film is removed from the Yams and Apples and they have been stirred, sprinkle the topping mixture evenly over the casserole. Return to the heated oven and cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
