EMILIE'S HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 (1 lb.) box elbow macaroni
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
2 sm. cans tomato paste
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. milk
6 med. onions
3 eggs
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Sugar
Slices American cheese

Chop onion; brown in oil. Mix in hamburger; salt and pepper to taste. Simmer. Add tomato paste. Simmer. Cook macaroni and drain. Combine cream cheese and milk; boil together until smooth. Put layer of macaroni in greased sheet cake pan. Add hamburger mixture. Pour cream cheese mixture over all and add a little sugar (sprinkle lightly). Beat eggs and pour over cream cheese. Cover with sliced cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts and turns light brown.
