I've made this cake since 1989. It really is the best cake recipe I've ever tried. This cake never lasts long enough to get stale! 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple & juice 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix and bake in a 9x13-inch pan for 35 minutes. ICING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Allow cake to cool, then frost.
