HILLBILLY BBQ SAUCE
42 oz. tomato juice
32 oz. apple cider vinegar
1 c. Texas Pete
1 1/2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
3 tsp. onion powder
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
3 c. vegetable or canola oil

Mix ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk. Marinate chicken or pork overnight. Marinate shrimp for 3 hours.

Grill on charcoal grill for best flavor. Put remainder of sauce in an air-tight container and store in refrigerator. Makes a gallon or so and will keep under refrigeration for about 2 months.

Leave the oil out, grind the dry seasoning and try V8 juice instead of tomato juice. Dont be scared to experiment with your favorite hotsauce instead of texas pete. Makes a good injection for slow cooking bbq. When used as an injection the oil gives a bad taste is why I suggest to leave it out.
