2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese 2 tsp. dry mustard 3 pkgs. Carl Budding lean beef, chopped 1 sm. can drained sauerkraut 2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls 1 egg yolk, beaten 1/4 tsp. caraway seeds Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl mix cream cheese, Swiss cheese, mustard, caraway seeds and sauerkraut well, then add chopped beef, set aside. Separate dough into 16 triangles on a grease pizza round cookie sheet, arrange triangles, points towards the outside, in a circle with bases overlapping. The center opening should be about 3 inches in diameter. Spoon cream cheese mixture in a ring evenly over bases of triangles. Fold points of triangles over filling and tuck under bases of triangles at center of circles. Brush with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown. |
