1/2 c. melted shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 sq. melted baking chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together shortening, sugar and chocolate. Add vanilla and eggs; stir. Add dry ingredients. Spread on hot waffle iron, cook until darkness desired. Serve with vanilla ice cream. This is very rich and wonderful! Serves 4.
