STRAWBERRY TRIFLE 
1 family size store bought pound cake (22 oz.)
Brandy liqueur or rum
1 (6 oz.) instant French vanilla pudding
3 c. cold milk
2 (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed & drained or fresh strawberries
1 pt. heavy whipping cream, whipped until stiff
3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
Fresh strawberry garnish

Slice cake into 1 inch slices and then cut into 1 inch cubes. Spread out on cookie sheet and generously sprinkle with brandy or rum. Prepare pudding with 3 cups milk. Prepare whipping cream, sweeten to taste with confectioners' sugar.

In a deep crystal serving bowl, place a layer of cake cubes, then a layer of pudding, then some strawberries and then some whipping cream, continue layering in the same order until ending with whipped cream on top. Garnish with whole strawberries or sliced strawberries, fresh if available, or garnish with some chopped almonds or walnuts, etc.
