APPLE CRUMBLE 
6 tart apples, sliced and peeled
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 c. water

1. Place apples in an 8x8x2 baking pan.

2. Mix water and lemon juice. Pour over apples.

3. Mix sugar, oats, flour and spices.

4. Mix butter into dry mixture of oats and flour until crumbly.

5. Sprinkle dry crumble over apples before baking. 300 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
