HAWAIIAN MEAT BALLS 
1/2 c. milk
1 slice bread
2 lbs. ground meat
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
8 tbsp. oil

Crumble bread and pour milk over it. Add the rest except oil. Make into balls (walnut size) and brown in oil. Put into a pan or slow cooker.

Take 2 pound size can of pineapple chunks - save juice. Put pineapple chunks and 1/2 cup chopped green pepper over meat balls.

In separate saucepan, put:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Take pineapple juice and water to make 1 1/2 cups.

Add:

1/4 c. wine vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
4 beef bouillon cubes

Bring to boil. Put over meat balls and let simmer 20-30 minutes. Serve on rice. (Serves 12-14.)
