SWISS STEAK 
1 lg. round steak, cut in 6 or 7 pieces and pounded to tenderize
1 lg. onion, cut in half and sliced
1 med. bay leaf (remove bay leaf after cooking)
1/2 tsp. of sage
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cans mushroom soup
2 c. of water

Mix together and pour over steak. Cook on medium heat for 4 to 6 hours. You have both steak and gravy when its done.
