SAUERKRAUT AND PORK CHOP 
4 loin pork chops, 1 lb.
2 c. sauerkraut, drained
1 sm. apple, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. caraway seed; optional

Brown pork chops in skillet. Mix sauerkraut with meat juice in skillet. Layer half of sauerkraut, half of apple sliced and half of caraway seed in casserole.

Arrange pork chops over top of mixture. Layer remaining sauerkraut, apple, and caraway seed. Cover and bake at 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until pork is tender.

4 servings = 2 lean meat, 1 vegetable, 1/2 fruit, 151 calories.
