CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE 
2 lg. cloves garlic, halved
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. white pepper

In a small skillet, cook the garlic in butter over low heat about 5 minutes until garlic is golden. Put the garlic in a blender or food processor. Add the mayonnaise and pepper; process until smooth. Makes 1 cup.

Use the sauce to dress up steamed vegetables without the bother of preparing hollandaise. Chill the leftover sauce and use as a dip for raw vegetables.
