FAVORITE MEAT LOAF 
1 slice bread, torn in sm. pieces
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 clove garlic, minced (opt.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/4 c. catsup

Mix bread, onion, celery, egg, garlic, salt and pepper. Crumble ground beef into mixture; blend thoroughly.

Press into 2 quart glass casserole, leaving a large hole in the center (like a ring).

Microwave on high about 15 minutes, turning now and then if your oven does not turn automatically. Check for doneness. Spread with catsup. Microwave on medium 3 or 4 more minutes. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
