Ummm... Will this work for any cake mix? I have a super moist chocolate or devils food cake mix. Will this recipe work?

The batter was VERY thick,so I tried adding about 1/4 of a cup of almond milk. I also added chocolate chips. I also had to bake it for 35 minutes at 350°F, but they taste great!

I used Sugar Free cake mix, all else the same. My son-in-law and grand daughter ate almost the entire pan that day. used 8x8, as it is very thick and small amount of batter. They loved the texture. and everything else, I guess.

I added a cup of coconut and about half a cup of chocolate chips and I used my German chocolate cake mix. Super unhealthy. Really delicious.

I made these brownies with a top name brand devil's food butter recipe cake mix and used the suggested ingredients. The mixture was very much the same as a regular brownie mix. I chose a 9x13 inch baking pan oiled with cooking spray. I left one end plain and decided to add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, chopped peanuts and dollops of peanut butter on the second half. I baked at 350°F for 25 minutes and the revues were they were AWESOME!!! The plain brownies were very good with chewy sides and corners. Obviously this recipe is a KEEPER for me.

These are good. I did modify the recipe though. I greased my 9 x 13 pan first and doubled the recipe using two chocolate fudge cake mixes, 1/2 cup of oil, 2/3 cup of cooled coffee, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of mayo, and 1/2 cup of mini semisweet chocolate chips. You will have to spread these into the pan. They were very tasty but still a cross between a rich cake and a brownie. The sides resembled cake, where as the center was more like a true brownie. I baked these for 35 minutes and then set the pan on a cooling rack for five minutes. Then I covered the pan with foil for about an hour. They ended up staying very moist and flavorful for the whole 12 hours they lasted in my household of 3 brownie lovers. I would definitely make these again but may tweak the recipe next time to see if I can get them to come out more like a true brownie. Enjoy! :)

Ok I just put mine in oven at 2:18pm. I made a double batch though so it will take longer to bake.I think my kids are going to enjoy licking the bowl more than eating the brownies! Lol. Just took them out and topped with caramel sauce. Oh man they look great!
