MY FAVORITE STRAWBERRY BREAD | |
3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. sugar 3 eggs, beaten 1 1/4 c. cooking oil 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and drained (reserve some liquid) 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl. Make a well in the center. Add eggs and oil. Stir until moistened. Stir in strawberries and pecans. Put mixture in 2 lightly greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Yield: 2 loaves. |
