PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 c. home rendered lard
1/4 c. water or enough to make right consistency
1 tsp. salt

Mix flour and lard until crumbly; add salt. Add just enough water to roll out. Roll on pastry cloth. Put in pie plate. Add filling and another crust on top. Flange edge and prick design on top. Sprinkle sugar on top and bake. Makes enough for 3 double crust pies.
