COOKED CRANBERRY SAUCE 
1 lb. fresh or frozen cranberries
2 1/2 c. cold water
1 tsp. fresh grated orange rind
2 tsp. granulated gelatin
1/2 tsp. pure orange flavor
Artificial sweetener to substitute for 3/4 c. sugar

Pick over and wash cranberries. Place in deep saucepan with 2 cups water and orange rind. Bring to boil and cook briskly until all berries have popped.

Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water, remove cranberries from heat. Add gelatin, orange flavor and artificial sweetener, stir until gelatin is dissolved and blended. Turn into jars, cover, chill and store in refrigerator.

1 vegetable or 1/2 fruit exchange. Up to 3 tablespoons maybe considered "free" (10 calories). Can be used to make cranberry salad.
