PARADISE PUMPKIN PIE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

TOP LAYER:

1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine ingredients for bottom layer. Beat until fairly smooth and pour into 9 inch pastry shell. Then mix well all top layer ingredients, and pour carefully over cheese mixture. Bake 65 minutes at 350 degrees.
