CHILI CON QUESO (Chili Cheese
Dip)
 
1 c. American cheese
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. cream or evaporated milk
1 med. fresh tomato, chopped
1 or more fresh, frozen, or canned green chiles, chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1. Melt both cheeses together on low heat.

2. After cheese melts, add cream, stirring constantly.

3. Add chopped tomato, chopped green chili and garlic powder. Stir to blend all flavors. Add more cream if desired.

4. Serve warm in chafing dish with Tostados. Yields 1 3/4 cups.
