CRAZY CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs and add mayonnaise and buttermilk. Mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to mayonnaise mixture. Mix well. Add vanilla. Beat well. In a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan; bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Ice when cooled.

ICING:

1/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. canned milk

In a double boiler, combine butter, sugar, canned milk and bring to a boil, about 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat and beat until right consistency. Spread over cooled cake.
